InterContinental Dubai – Festival City, let’s have a stopover

The InterContinental Dubai in Festival City is absolutely worth the stay. It is located in a very nice area which is Festival City. I must admit it is not the kind of area where you will find the traditional tourists. But for those who are looking for something else it is a great choice. Next to that the hotel has a few nice reasons why you might get convinced to stay here.

Indulgence the food experience

Let me first say that this wasn’t my first experience with the InterContinental group of hotels. So my expectations from the InterContinental Festival City were already set high before my stay. And I must admit that Dubai even surpassed it. But then again we are talking about Dubai. Should I have expected anything less? Of course not.

If you are into some nice food experience. This hotel will definitely be your match. The breakfast offered in the hotel is just wow. The international buffet offers a wide range of choice to everyone’s taste. From the French bakery to the amazing fresh sushi. There is also a lot of attention for healthy fresh juices and of course you have the option to choose à la carte fresh prepared meals. Your taste buds will be pampered and you will have no excuse to skip that healthy breakfast during your stay here.

Should you want to try a very nice and exclusive dining experience then you must be heading to Pierres Bistro. Three Michelin star Chef Pierre Gagnaire invites you for an exclusive French dining experience.

And for those who can’t miss our delicious Belgian dishes during your stay. You can just head over to the Crown Plaza next to the InterContinental Dubai Festival City where you will find the Belgian Cafe. Serving some of the most popular Belgian dishes while you can enjoy the skyline of Dubai on the outside terrace. As you can see, home is never far away when you are in Dubai with its diverse variety in cuisines. It guarantees you can take a culinary trip around the world from just one place.

Shopping at its best

You must have noticed that there are quite some shopping experiences when you are in Dubai. And of course no shopping mall as large as the famous Dubai Mall. But for those who are looking for a local experience when staying at the InterContinental Dubai Festival City, then the Festival City Mall is the place to be.

The hotel has a direct access to the mall. You will find some very popular brands in this mall but also local concept stores and nice dining options as well. While you have a very nice view on the waterfront. Even the Hard Rock Café Dubai is located in the Dubai Festival City Mall.

Some me time at the InterContinental Dubai Festival City

We all are aware that travelling around the world does take energy. So some me time from time is absolutely mandatory. Who doesn’t need to recharge after a long flight or a busy travel journey?

At the InterContinental Dubai Festival City they understood the concept of well

So if you are in need to recharge recharging then you will definitely enjoy the hotel facilities. From the swimming pool with glass bottom and endless view on the waterfront to the gym. And for those who are looking for a real moment of relaxation the Arabian spa is awaiting you.

The InterContinental Dubai Festival City is an Ideal stop-over location

As you might know, taking a taxi in Dubai is quite easy and budget friendly. So the location of your hotel should not limit you at all to discover the beautiful city of Dubai. But of course once has to make a choice where to stay. And it will all be up to what your travel goal is and what your priorities are.

In my opinion the InterContinental Dubai Festival City is an amazing location for those travelling on a stop-over since the hotel is located very close to the international airport. While it prevents you from being around the airport area where there is not that much to do.

And if you choose to stay a few days you will get at least a glimpse of the Dubai experience. Encouraging you to come back next time, maybe a little bit longer.
