India and The Golden Triangle
The Golden Triangle is of course not be missed on your tour through India. If there is one location that just about every traveller wants to visit on their first trip to India, it is of course the Taj Mahal in Agra. Being the country’s most iconic monument I understand perfectly why.
The Taj Mahal in all its glory
And I can’t blame you. I have now visited the Taj Mahal several times. In different seasons and at different times of the day. The most incredible part of the Taj Mahal is that this stunning monument gets a different view every time.
Under the influence of light, one of the most iconic monuments on earth always takes on a different face. Always surprising and even more stunningly beautiful. No wonder you will never be bored with a visit here.

Jaipur, the Pink City
Personally, I think the Golden Triangle itself is a fantastic combination of 3 very diverse cities. For someone who wants a brief introduction to India, whether you are traveling for pleasure or business. Here you will certainly get an impression of what India is.
True it is a deep dive on a very short time. And you will not hear me tell you that you now have a good idea of what India is like, because India is so diverse that one trip will never be enough. But it’s an awesome occasion to get to know India, even though it is just a little bit.
With a visit to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan and also the gateway, you immediately get a glimpse of what the colourful state of Maharajas and Maharanis, Rajasthan has to offer.

Delhi
To end your trip, in the capital Delhi. Now you can think many things about at city like Delhi. That is the home of over more than 30 million inhabitants. What I have personally learned from big cities is that by going there several times, you usually get the chance to discover the more authentic aspects.
The advantage is also that you will behave less like a tourist and more like a local. That is why we always pay a lot of attention to giving you experiences that go beyond just the tourist hotspots. But it makes you feel with a different feeling. But often our image on a destination is based on perception.
Personally, when I design travel journeys, I am always looking for a healthy mix. And I don’t doubt for a second that you will definitely notice the contrast between Old & New Delhi. In any case, if I have made you curious, then you should just visit it yourself.
Combine the Golden Triangle with India
Traveling through India means always making choices. And this may sound a bit negative, but in any case it isn’t. I would say it helps you prioritize and focus on the important things. It is impossible to thoroughly visit such a gigantic country in a short period of time.
I also keep noticing that my travel to-do list is not getting smaller but just getting longer. For a long time, the Golden Triangle was mainly combined with Rajasthan, but given the great connectivity in India these days, the possibilities are limitless.
So even if you want to include a visit to the Golden Triangle today you can perfectly combine it with:
- Mumbai
- Goa
- Kerala
- Kashmir
- Darjeeling
- …

Spotting tigers in Ranthambore National Park
Another gem where I have been a number of times already, to spot tigers is Ranthambore National Park. This beautiful park is ideal for those who visit the Golden Triangle and do have some spare time and want to add a different experience to their journey.
This beautiful park has very good visibility and a high chance of spotting tigers and a range of other animals. You leave early in the morning, to witness the golden sunrise over the parc. Which gives you a magnificent experience without a doubt, just how I like to create our travel journeys.
In any case, these unique combinations make sure that I can create an even more inspiring journey for you.
