My favourite hotels in Dubai

My favourite hotels in Dubai? It’s absolutely a very difficult thing to make a list  of my favorite hotels in Dubai. On today’s date. Dubai already has more than 700 hotels and counting.

I created my own list of favorite hotels. These are hotels which I have already visited, had lunch or stayed at. During my trips to Dubai I often visit like 10 hotels. It will take me many trips before I will be able to visit all hotels in Dubai. Nevertheless, it’s always a nice experience to see how Dubai keeps innovating their hotel offer. Customers will always be able to go for a new wow experience.

Hotels to everyone’s wishes

I like to visit different types of hotels. From boutique hotels, to resort hotels to the ultra-exclusive hotels. I fully understand that some travelers will choose a resort hotel. Or go for a hotel in the Marina or in Downtown, depending on the purpose they are travelling. But for those planning a trip to Dubai I have good news. Dubai has something to offer for all of you.

Bulgari Resort Dubai

I really love this hotel. Bulgari Resort Dubai is already for a very long time one of my favorite hotels in Dubai. And even though in the meantime I have already visited many other hotels. I think comparing hotels in Dubai is very difficult since all of those hotels have their own signature. Which make them all unique in a certain way.

I think its location of the Bulgari Resort Dubai is in one word splendid. It’s located on Jumeira Bay, an artificial island. And the hotel even has its own private marina. It has this cozy but high-quality atmosphere.

Not only the suites are very spacious and well designed. But you will certainly love the villas as well. The private pool gives you additional privacy to enjoy your free time. Of course like many hotels you can choose out of a range of activities so you won’t get bored for a minute. But it’s mostly the spacious spa with a surface of 1700m2 that has place its signature.  

Four Seasons Resort Dubai

To me personally I think the Four Seasons Resort in Dubai is designed with a great sense of style. From the lobby, to the rooms to the beach area.

The hotel gives a very luxurious atmosphere. It’s a true resort where you can enjoy your free time without getting bored. You can choose to stay by one of the 3 swimming pools, go for an excellent dinner experience or just get in shape. Based on its location the Four Seasons Resort is easily accessible. Which makes it easy if you would like to go eat for some shopping experience or some sightseeing

One&Only The Palm

One more hotel to add to my list of favorite hotels in Dubai. I must admit that until a few years ago the location of this hotel on the Palm could limit travelers to choose to stay here. Especially for those looking for activities to do outside of the hotel. But Dubai wouldn’t be Dubai and in the meantime the Palm became another trendy spot in Dubai.

Over the last few years we have seen the Palm getting developed at a quick pace. In the meantime the monorail has stops in various stations. You can enjoy some free time at the Pointe, a shopping area and many restaurants. You will definitely enjoy the splendid view on Atlantis the Palm. And recently the View the Palm opened here. A very nice place to spot the nicest views over the Palm.

Of course there is nothing wrong to enjoy the facilities of your hotel at 200% but now at least you have an option.

Atlantis the Palm

Another amazing and iconic hotel is located on the Palm island. Atlantis is a large hotel but then again it has a lot to offer. And you won’t have to get out of your hotel since you can enjoy its many facilities.

The hotel has its own sandy beach, which is an advantage while traveling with children. No doubt you will be able to click some nice family pictures while you enjoy the beautiful view on the Arabian Gulf.

During your stay at Atlantis the Palm, you can enjoy your free time at Aquaventure. Our children really loved it. And so we did! The parc has a lot to offer for all ages. And despite that fact we visited Aquaventure in August, when temperatures are quite high, being in the water was very refreshing.

Next to the various restaurants the hotel has to offer, you will also find some nice small boutiques inside the hotels as well as a kids club.

For those wanting to visit some other iconic places in Dubai. From the Atlantis the Palm you can easily reach the Mall of the Emirates, The Emirates Golf Club and Burj Khalifa after a short transfer. No doubt this hotel can’t be missed on my list of favorite hotels in Dubai. 

Jumeirah Mina A’Salam at Madinat Jumeirah Resort

Actually the Madinat Jumeirah Resort houses 4 different hotels. The resort has its own souk and offers a wide range of more than 40 restaurants, bars and lounges to all its guests of the resort.

We stayed at Mina A’Salam which is know as a boutique hotel. The hotel is situated very close to the Burj Al Arab. It gives you splendid views on one of the most iconic hotels in Dubai during the day and at night.

The hotel also has its own creek. And the abra will take you to the other side of the hotel in no time. We even took a tour with the abra to see a glimpse of the other hotels, restaurants and kids club.

Golfers will enjoy their free time at the golf course and travelers with a focus on wellbeing can spend their free time at the spa. While others will enjoy the watersports or just a tour on of the luxury yachts.

On the other side of the road you will find Wild Wadi. As a guest of the Madinat Jumeirah Resort you will enjoy your free access. A buggy from your hotel takes you easily to the entrance and back. No doubt you our your family will get bored during their stay in this hotel.

JW Mariott Marquis hotel Dubai in Business Bay

Staying at Business Bay might not be your first idea when traveling to Dubai, unless you are a business traveller. But from my own experience I can tell you that staying at the JW Marriott Marquis in Dubai would make a great idea.

This hotel is situated in 2 towers and has more than 15 restaurants where your tasting buds will get spoiled. For those in love of shopping malls you won’t even have to choose between The Dubai Mall or the Mall of the Emirates since both are easily accessible when you take the metro in Business Bay. Since the hotel is located near the water canal it will give you an awesome view.

And of course for those who look for some relaxation you will be happy to see the hotel also offers spa facilities.

The AddressDowntown

You might already have heard of the Address hotels. It’s a chain of hotels with a very beautiful range of hotels in its portfolio. However you will notice similarities you will also notice that each hotels has its own unique location and unique identity. Once you have stayed at one of the properties, no doubt you will want to go back for more. And you will be amazed by each experience.

I have seen various of the properties and I can only say wow to so much attention for details. You get this welcome feeling that you are at home. While the designers have an eye on the punctual decoration.

The Address Downtown has a hight of 302 meters and goes up to 63 floors. And its location only in downtown Dubai. In the heart of this vibrant area. Close the iconic Burj Khalifa and to the Dubai Mall, which has a direct access from the hotel. You will find a wide range of shops, the souk and restaurants in this area. You fully understand that you won’t have a minute to get bored when staying in this area.

Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates

Dubai has not really one centre. There are many popular places in Dubai, who each have their identity. So it will just be up to you in which area you would love to spend your happy days in Dubai. But don’t worry, no matter if you choose a beach resort or a city hotel. There’s plenty of choice. And hotel quality in Dubai is without a doubt amazing.

The Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates already reveals its location with its name. Therefore the hotel has a direct connection with the Mall of The Emirates. But even downtown is close by just as Dubai Marina and Palm Jumeirah. Even if you wish to explore Dubai by metro you will find it very easy as there is a metro station at Mall of the Emirates.

Besides the fact that you will find quite some nice shops at Mall of the Emirates. No you won’t be disappointed even after you have visited the Dubai Mall. You will also find Ski Dubai. Its maybe crazy when you are staying in the dessert to go for a ski experience. Or maybe its not. I do think it is worth a visit for all those wanting to have a ski experience. I really liked this hotel.

And even if you are tired after visiting all those shops or explored the hotspots in Dubai. The hotel will welcome you in one of its many restaurants or you can go for a moment of relaxation in the Spa.

Palazzo Versace Dubai

The Palazzo Versace has the signature of the House of Versace. No doubt you will see the designer signature all over the hotel. The hotel makes you think you are staying at an Italian Palace, straight from the 16 ^th century.

The hotel has more than 300 rooms, all with furniture covered with tailor made Versace fabrics. No doubt it is a true paradise for the lovers of this incredible brand. I also loved how they used sketches from their couture collection as a wall decoration across the hotel. It really gives the hotel a high fashionable touch.

The outdoor areas have been adapted to promote the Italian way of live, to live outdoor. You can enjoy the good life and delicious food on one of the many outside terraces. You will feel you are the owner of the Palazzo.

The hotel is located at Khor Dubai or the Dubai Creek, also named the river of Dubai. The hotel gives you an amazing view on the scenery as well as a magical view on the skyline of Dubai.
